The Technology And Infrastructure Lead must identify and extract the foundation data and the transactional data from the Client’s systems which need to be migrated into the new technical environment.
As part of developing data requirements, the Technology And Infrastructure Lead must also develop Knowledge management requirements in detail. While the details of tools and systems to be used to set up a Known Error Database (KEDB) and Knowledge Management System (KMS) are established in the task “Develop Configuration Requirements”, the extract of knowlege articles from the existing systems to populate the KEDB and KMS in the new environment is done here.
The list of configuration items and other SACM (Software Asset and Configuration Management) requirements are also extracted from the Client’s sytem to be developed on the main environment.
In addition to the above, the information security data also needs to developed in this phase of the engagement. The Technology And Infrastructure Lead will develop the data requirements by reviewing the latest transactional data, existing foundation data, knowledge articles, configuration management database and information security requirements.
Once the requirements are finlaised and documented, the Technology And Infrastructure Lead must get them reviewed by stakeholders. |
